Chynna was my one and only daughter. She was taken away July 24th, 2006. Chynna, 26 and her stepson Blake, 10 were brutally murdered in their new home. They had just moved in about a month before. And Blake was over for his weekly visit. Little did they know something terrible was going to happen that afternoon? No one heard or saw anything, but someone took Chynna and Blake's life. They were found brutally stabbed to death that afternoon. Who was the last to see them alive? Who killed them?
They were last seen alive around lunch time. From that point on no one could reach her. Blake's grandmother was coming over to pick him up because he was going to go to a movie with his Mother.
Chynna was a very loving person. Once she met you, she never forgot your name or who you were. And you would probably get a small note and card in the mail from her, just to say Hello. Chynna never met a stranger. She liked everyone and she made you feel like you had known her for years.
They had just gotten back from a mission trip to El Salvador. Chynna prayed with a lady for one day and night ... the lady had never spoken a word and she said her first word to Chynna
Chynna collected butterflies; it was for God's new Creation. An ornament, pictures, or books anything with butterflies. A lot of her Cards had butterflies on them. You never saw her with out a smile. She felt everyone had a good side you just had to bring it out.
Chynna was a straight A student at Marian College and was in the Honors Program. She then switched to Indiana Wesleyan to study accounting, keeping her grades high.
